WORLD WATER DAY

WORLD WATER DAY

WORLD WATER DAY
World Water Day was celebrated on 22nd March 2025 with great enthusiasm and participation to emphasize the importance of water conservation and sustainable management. The World Water Day celebration successfully raised awareness about the critical need for water conservation and environmental stewardship. The engaging programs not only educated participants but also encouraged them to take practical steps toward preserving water resources. The collaborative efforts of students, faculty, and the community made the event a grand success, reinforcing the message that every drop of water counts.
A Slogan Competition was conducted to promote creative thinking and to spread awareness about water conservation. A Water Pollution Awareness Wall was set up to educate and inform the public about the harmful effects of water pollution. Students prepared posters, drawings, and informative charts showcasing the causes, consequences, and preventive measures of water pollution. This visual display served as a powerful medium to convey the message, attracting the attention of both students and visitors. Clay pots filled with clean water (പറവകൾക്കൊരു നീർക്കുടം) were placed at various locations on campus to provide drinking water for birds during the summer. Students and staff actively participated by setting up and maintaining these pots, promoting kindness toward nature and fostering environmental responsibility.
