The Department of Pharmacy Practice conducted a workshop on “Advanced Research Methodological Approaches in Clinical Pharmacy Practice” on 17 January 2026, delivered by Ms. Swetha Somakumar, PhD Scholar, Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Manipal. The session focused on key research components including systematic review methodology, formulation of a research question, sample size calculation, and preparation of a research protocol. The resource person provided practical insights and step-by-step guidance on each topic, emphasizing their application in clinical pharmacy research. The workshop was attended by 32 students from Fifth Year Pharm.D and Third Semester M.Pharm, and it was highly beneficial in enhancing their understanding of research methodology and supporting them in effective project and dissertation preparation in clinical pharmacy practice.
