The department objectives are designed to make the students familiar with drugs, the action of drugs, use of drugs, doses and toxic symptoms and to promote research activities.
Lab Facilities :
Department laboratories are well equipped with facilities for the pursuit of research in areas like Neuropharmacology, Endocrinology, Psychopharmacology, Cardiovascular and other areas. Research activity is being pursued by faculty members for studying various pharmacological activities of drugs.

Full-fledged laboratory with sophisticated equipment including Actophotometer, Plethysmometer Analgesiometer, Convulsiometer, Pole climbing apparatus Rota-rod apparatus, students organ bath and assembly, Kymographs and Sherrington’s dream.
