Job Description

The Lab Technician of Pharmaceutical Chemistry is responsible for supporting academic and research activities in the pharmaceutical chemistry laboratory. The role involves preparation, maintenance, and management of laboratory equipment, chemicals, and materials, ensuring smooth conduct of practical sessions, adherence to safety protocols, and assistance to faculty and students during laboratory experiments.

Responsibility

Responsibilities:

• Prepare chemical reagents, solutions, and samples required for practical classes and research activities.
• Set up laboratory equipment and instruments before practical sessions and ensure their proper functioning.
• Ensure safe handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals and laboratory waste as per safety guidelines.
• Maintain inventory records of chemicals, glassware, and equipment; place purchase requests when required.
• Maintain laboratory logbooks, stock registers, and safety records.
• Support research activities, project work, and quality control procedures as required.

Qualification

 Diploma In Pharmacy or Bachelor In Pharmacy
