Job Description

The Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutics at National College of Pharmacy is responsible for delivering high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate instruction in pharmaceutics, including subjects such as pharmaceutical formulations, biopharmaceutics, pharmacokinetics, industrial pharmacy, and novel drug delivery systems. The role involves preparing and delivering lectures, conducting laboratory sessions, mentoring students in academic and research projects, and guiding thesis work in accordance with PCI and KUHS norms.

Responsibility

Along with delivering undergraduate and postgraduate instruction in pharmaceutics, the candidate is expected to engage in research activities, publish in peer-reviewed journals, apply for research grants, and participate in seminars, workshops, and faculty development programs. Additional responsibilities include curriculum development, examination duties, academic advising, participation in institutional committees, industry collaboration, and contributing to accreditation and quality assurance processes such as NAAC, thereby supporting the college’s mission of academic excellence and innovation in pharmaceutical sciences.

Qualification

M.Pharm in Pharmaceutics from Recognized University/Institution .
