On March 11th, the Women's Cell and the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Cell (IEDC) of National College of Pharmacy came together to celebrate International Women's Day. The event was inaugurated by Dr. Sujith Varma, the principal of National College of Pharmacy. The celebration included a Women's Day speech by Praseena K, Associate Professor at National College of Pharmacy, which highlighted the importance of women's contributions to society and the need for gender equality.
Shahana Febin, Student Coordinator, conducted an orientation session to educate students about the significance of International Women's Day and the role of women in today's world. The event also featured cultural programs showcasing the talents of the students, as well as a quiz competition that tested their knowledge about women's achievements and empowerment.
The quiz competition was followed by the distribution of prizes to the winners. Nafla, a student member of IEDC, delivered the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all the participants, organizers, and sponsors for making the event a success. The celebration was a meaningful and inspiring tribute to the women of National College of Pharmacy, highlighting their achievements and the importance of gender equality.
