B. PHARM

B.Pharm

Eligibilty


To be eligible for admission to the first semester of the B.Pharm course, a candidate must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in overall and 50% marks in the optional subject in any of the following courses: HSE/CBSE/ICSE examinations with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics/Computer Science/Biotechnology as optional subjects, or any other examination approved as equivalent to the above by the Kerala University of Health Sciences.

Registration

To apply for registration for the B.Pharm course, a candidate must submit an application in the prescribed format, original degree certificate and mark lists of the qualifying examination, allotment letter from the competent authority, eligibility, and migration certificates where necessary, original SSLC/equivalent certificate, and the prescribed course fees.

Duration

The B.Pharm course extends over eight semesters (four academic years) and six semesters (three academic years) for lateral entry students. The Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi, will prescribe the curricula and syllabi for the program from time to time.

 

B.Pharm (LE)

Eligibilty

To be eligible for lateral admission directly to the third semester of the B.Pharm course, a candidate must have passed the Diploma in Pharmacy course under Pharmacy Act 1948 from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India, scoring a minimum of 50% marks in the final year examinations.

Registration

To register for the B.Pharm course, a candidate must make a formal application in the prescribed format, submit original degree certificate and mark lists of the qualifying examination, allotment letter from the competent authority, eligibility and migration certificate where necessary, original SSLC/equivalent certificate, and the prescribed course fees.

 

Duration

The B.Pharm course duration for lateral entry students is six semesters (three academic years). The curricula and syllabi for the program will be prescribed by the Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi, from time to time.
